This notice explains how Forest Castle Group Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, company, email address, phone number, company website, the commodity you are interested in and your message.
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email or share during discussions, including business contact details.
- Counterparty checks: if we move towards doing business together, identity and ownership information about your organisation, its directors, beneficial owners and authorised signatories.
- Website usage: anonymous, aggregated statistics about page visits. Our analytics does not use cookies and does not identify you. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and fault-finding.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential trade.
- To carry out know-your-counterparty, sanctions and anti-money laundering checks before we enter into any contract.
- To perform and administer contracts we enter into with you.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
- To keep this website secure and working.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
Consent
By submitting the enquiry form or writing to us, you consent to us using your personal data for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@forestcastlegroup.com. If you do, we may no longer be able to deal with your enquiry or continue a business relationship.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who run systems for us: Zoho (our customer relationship system, which receives enquiry form submissions), Google (email) and Vercel (website hosting and analytics). They process data only on our instructions.
- Parties to a transaction you are involved in, such as banks, inspection companies, logistics providers and professional advisers, where they need it to complete that transaction.
- Authorities where the law requires us to disclose it.
Transfers outside Singapore
Some of our service providers store data outside Singapore, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take steps to make sure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, for example records of counterparty checks and transactions. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to this website, access controls on our systems, and limiting access to people who need it.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used, and ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate. Write to info@forestcastlegroup.com. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible, and within 30 days. If we need longer, we will tell you when to expect a reply.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
